READY TO RUMBLE

March 27, 2018

We are set for the upcoming season and North American Championship that will follow.  The HWC teams have been decided, meaning that any player not on an HWC roster is eligible to represent their local region.  The opportunity to play with other locals has always been a great element of Halo and we love adding to local competition with the 16 regional teams of the PBL. The battles kick off on May 6th.

The season consists of each team playing their conference opponents twice. The team with the best record is the conference champion and gets an automatic place in the North American Championship. The team with the worst conference record is eliminated from post season. The 2nd and 3rd teams in each conference are placed in a seeded bracket. The top four teams that come out of the bracket move on to the North American Championship.

If you would like to jump on board with a team and compete in the PBL, reach out and we will connect you with the regional team leadership. We are currently recruiting team captains in Seattle and Austin.  While PBL is an amateur Halo community, we have always been impressed with the level of talent that comes to the battle for bragging rights.

The PBL on BattlePro.com
Of course, we are very excited about the upcoming season and championship. However, we are also pumped to be rolling out the PBL on BattlePro.com.  BattlePro is our new platform for tournament management.  Maybe even more awesome, BattlePro will give us a resource for connecting fans and teams.

Take a few moments to sign up on BattlePro and help us determine what feature will help Halo fans connect with their local PBL team.
